Martín Bonadeo was born in Buenos Aires in 1975. Since then he has been a researcher. He is an artist developing projects in the limit between art, science and symbolic knowledge. Most of his works are site specific and he uses various types of expressive sensory technologies. He is trained as an art director (1995), he holds a BA in advertising (1998), he is a Ph.D. (Magna Cum Laude) in olfactory communication (2003) and he did his post-doc in art-science-technology links at the University of California at Los Angeles (2004). In 2000 he began his training as an artist with Fabiana Barreda and Mónica Giron and since then he has developed more than fifty exhibitions, installations, urban interventions and projects for various cultural spaces in more than twenty cities around the world. His work as an artist has been awarded nationally and internationally and is referenced in numerous press reviews and books. He published 4 books that can be downloaded free and complete from the web. The last one is called Pacha Kutiq Wanka (2018) and is focused on the crossing between original, esoteric, and artistic knowledge. He likes to share knowledge. He is a professor in various graduate and postgraduate courses in art, creativity and innovation at Universities of Argentina --UCA, Austral and Di Tella-- and fur visiting scholar at the University of Richmond, USA. He has created multiple university centers for research on transdisciplinary and ludic issues (TECAT, Cifra and LudLab) and was part of the team that launched a new design career in Argentina. He is also a consultant in communication and innovation for organizations and gives talks, conferences and training. He likes riding his bike and writing about art. He is married and he has two children. Although he travels a lot, he lives and works in Buenos Aires.
